These pieces had been brewing in my studio for over a year. Different experiments. Different directions. Some painted over old work. Some went through three versions before they finally decided what they wanted to be.
Then I left my 9–5.
And suddenly, these pieces had somewhere to go.
The Scary Thing is for the person who’s standing on the edge of something — a change, a risk, a big idea, a completely unreasonable decision.
The person who knows they probably shouldn’t…
but also really, really wants to.
